The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is the largest unsanctioned boat race in the US, and maybe the world, and was named one of the nation’s eight “must-see” boating events according to Powerboat Magazine. Our event raises funds for a range of local charitable organizations. Last year, we donated $625,000 to 32 different Charities and 8 Fire Departments.
In 2008, the Shootout moved to Captain Ron’s Bar & Grill in Sunrise Beach, MO on the 34.5 mile marker.
